Main changes in ❄️ February:

  • ☁️ Hosting:
    • The technical site check has been redesigned - new items have been added, the recommendations have been collapsed by default, a re-check button has been added next to each section without reloading the entire page, siteurl check has been added for WordPress.
    • Added the ability to specify a list of additional combinations of tag, attribute and category for which optimization should be applied in the PageSpeed settings.
    • Node.js settings now displays a notification if an app has been force-quitted due to using the wrong IP/port.
    • The system now monitors the status of Memcache(d), Redis, Sphinx and Node.js services. In the event of an emergency stop, they automatically restart after 10-15 seconds. For Sphinx and Node.js with more than 30 stops in the last 10 minutes, the restart is disabled, a notification is sent to the email and the services will need to be started manually on the corresponding page.
    • The maximum record size for Memcache(d) (the MAXITEMSIZE parameter) has been increased from 1 to the maximum possible value of 128 MB.
    • When transferring databases between servers (for example, in the process of changing the country for a hosting account), access to them is now blocked until the transfer is completed. For all sites in the hosting account during the migration, the "Service is temporarily unavailable" stub is displayed, which is automatically updated every 15 seconds and disappears immediately after the migration is completed.
    • All active queries are now automatically terminated for the database before it is restored from a backup.
    • Removed the ability to add addresses to the white list on the DDoS protection page.
    • Addresses of the Deflect traffic filtering service have been added to the white list of our DDoS protection. The service itself is now automatically detected in the access logs, and after its definition, the real IP addresses of visitors are displayed in the log.
    • The calendar on log pages has been made more compact.
    • Added auto-completion when editing the access directory of an FTP user.
    • On the CMS installation page for WordPress sites, the ability to automatically change the address has been added.
    • 44 new templates have been added to the website builder.
    • When the quota for mail is exceeded, the operations of creating a mailbox and importing mail are now blocked. To access such operations, you will need to solve the problem with exceeding the quota.
    • WebMail.Online:
      • Added the ability to import contacts from WebMail classic.
      • Added the ability to set any icons for folders from the standard set of Fomantic UI, including color.
      • Added the ability to attach files via the context menu. The images will be inserted into the email, the rest of the files will be attached as attachments.
      • Added the ability to drag and drop selected emails to any folder.
      • Improved output of the original text of the letter. Added selection of headings and displays all the necessary indents.
  • 🌎 Domains:
    • With a hidden web redirect with an SSL certificate installed, all requests are now redirected to HTTPS.
    • Due to the nuances of the work of registries during the period of martial law, pre-ordering of domains is temporarily disabled.
    • The cost of certificates has been increased.
  • 💻 VPS:
    • Images are now mounted as disks on the "CD-ROM" tab. You can mount two images at the same time.
    • Added the ability to upload and mount Windows images. When mounting such an image and a free second disk, an image with virtio-win drivers, which may be needed during system installation, will be automatically mounted into it.
    • You can now upload and mount any files as an image. Non-ISO files will be automatically converted to an ISO image that can be mounted to the server.
  • 📦 Storages:
    • A new version of storages has been implemented with access level settings, Secure Link support and increased file upload/download speed.
    • Improved appearance of the list of torrent downloads.
  • 💰 Payment:
    • Added the ability to recharge the balance through the form of anonymous payment.
    • Added support for G Pay when paying via LiqPay.
    • Added the ability to save cards when paying with Stripe and use them for auto-renewal of services. Thanks to this, auto-renewal is now available not only to individuals and FOP, but also to foreign legal entities.

    • Added article with a list and a brief description of the variables available in .htaccess .
    • Added a description of recharging the balance to article about anonymous payment.
    • Added article describing storage modes.
    • Added article describing Secure Link for storages.

    • The instructions for working with images on VPS have been revised and placed in a separate article.
