2.14.3.13. Localization of OpenCart

1. Register and log in on the official OpenCart site.
2. From the extension marketplace, download the archive with the required language pack to your PC:
   • Ukrainian — Ukrainian language Pack Opencart 2.3, Ukrainian language Pack Opencart 3 or Ukrainian language OpenCart 4.x - Українська мова.
   • Russian — Russian language pack v 2.x and 3x.
3. Upload the language pack to the site:
   1. Extract the language pack to your PC.
   2. Using file-manager or any FTP client, upload the admin, catalog and extension directories, depending on the language package, to the site root directory.
      • In Ukrainian language package additionally need to import the SQL-file included in the archive to the site database WITHOUT its pre-cleaning.
4. Enable the uploaded language in site admin panel:
   1. Open the "System → Localization → Languages" section and click "Add New".
   2. Fill in the fields and save your changes:
      • For Ukrainian localization:
        • "Language Name" — Українська.
        • "Code" — "uk-ua".
        • "Locale" — ua_UA.UTF-8,ua_UA,ua_UA,ua.
        • "Status" — "Enabled".
        • "Sort Order" — 0.
      • For Russian localization:
        • "Language Name" — Русский.
        • "Code" — "ru-ru".
        • "Locale" — ru_RU.UTF-8,ru_RU,russian.
        • "Status" — "Enabled".
        • "Sort Order" — 0.
   3. Open the "System → Settings" section and next to the store, click "Edit".
   4. On the "Local" tab, in the "Language" and "Administration Language" fields, select the desired language and save the changes.
   5. Check the site operation.

Other languages are installed and configured in the same way.
